14 of August Independence Day

Today, on this auspicious day, I am going to speak about the date 14th of August. The Muslims of the subcontinent finally achieved their own territory on August 14th, allowing them to live their lives in accordance with their religion. After great efforts by Mr. Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan attained independence on August 14, 1947. Mr. Jinnah held the view that Muslims could only live happily when they would own a nation headed by their own people and one that would adhere to Islamic philosophy.

The Muslims of the subcontinent made a lot of sacrifices during this time because they were a minority group and could not freely practice their religion. But because of the work of individuals like Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Iqbal, and Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, their sacrifices were not in vain, as they were able to give the Muslims their own independent nation.

Any nation’s Independence Day is celebrated with fervor and delight by its citizens, who in Pakistan treat it as a holiday. Under the green and white flag of Pakistan, they band together and share their joy with friends and family. Independence Day is observed in many ways by people all around the nation. To display their devotion to the nation, some individuals dress in green and white, while others go to national landmarks like the Minar-e-Pakistan and the Mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam. A lot of people take this opportunity to visit with family members and present gifts to those they care about.
