Here’s the 5 steps to set up your solid morning routine.
1. When the Alarm rings, get out of your bed.
And why are you doing that? Because you want to be a better version of you, because you want to achieve, because you want to see yourself more accomplished and succeed in future. You don’t only have to wake up but GET UP for YOURSELF. You’ve to stop procrastinating and keep your promise to yourself. It’s about a simple DISCIPLINE of what promise you’ve made a night before. You’ve set that alarm for yourself and now it’s time to keep that promise.
Use the FIVE SECOND RULE to get up every morning. Count backwards like FIVE FOUR THREE TWO ONE and get up.
2. Make your bed.
Making your bed is giving your future self a gift of doing something complete. It’s giving a gift to the evening you from a morning you. When you walk into your bedroom, you’ll see something that’s complete and that will feel proud.
3. High Five yourself.
After making your bed, when you brush your teeth, take a moment to look in the mirror and look into the eyes of the future YOU. Look at more accomplished and more successful YOU. Look into the eyes and make a promise to yourself to utilize that day that you’ve got. Look at all your hopes and dreams in the hands of the person in that mirror. It’s a habit of self-love and setting an intention with yourself as you stand there after brushing your teeth. You’re then ready like a winning team, giving a high five to yourself that no matter what happens today, you’re a winner and you’re going to make it a great day.
4. Move your body and Move your Mind.
Study Published in the American Medical Association shows that 10 minutes of power walk can add years to your life. And for what power walk means, it means walk like you’re late. It’s a way to achieve better health, mood and Sleep. Just 10 minutes of mindset practicing.
5. Progress Principle.
The secret to getting big things done is making little progress every day. Take five minutes and move the ball down the field on something that’s important to you. Research out of Harvard Business School suggests that people who feel like they’ve made progress on something that’s important to them feel more fulfilled. It’s not about getting things done, it’s about making progress on things that matter.
