To say and to do – there is a huge difference. You have heard from so many great speakers, No matter how much they will motivate you, but the biggest motivator is you yourself. Her family suggested to meet Bachendri Pal, the lady who had summit Evert in 1984, and she would really help.
She said, Arunima, in this state you even thought about such a difficult challenge like Everest- that means you have already conquered it in your heart, now it’s just for the sake of other people. And her journey begins_When she reached the mountain, from road head to base camp, it took people two minutes, but it used to take her three hours because her right leg bones were not yet healed, left was artificial. If her name is not in his list, he can’t take her away. And at the same time, a British climber was coming up. He had two oxygen cylinders. He threw one there and started going back down with the other because weather was really bad.
Sherpa bought the cylinder and she start going down.
In one whole piece, her entire prosthetic leg came off. The temperature goes down to -60 c at Everest. She grabbed her artificial leg and started to drag herself down.
