Be your own superhero

How many of you want to be a superhero? I’m sure most of us want to be. With so much evil in the world, we’re all looking for the one that’s going to stand up and save us. Someone who inspires and brings out the best in us.

It’s time we start acknowledging the everyday superheroes all around us and better yet, unleashing the superhero in all of us. Embrace all that you have to offer and share your talents with the world.

The greatest thing about finding your inner superhero is that once you’ve found it and you know it’s in there, you can never un-find it. Your inner superhero just got “outed” and it most certainly doesn’t want to go back into hiding. It’s time that we all let our inner superhero’s out to play. It’s time we celebrate our own powers and it’s time we rejoice in all that we have to offer to the world instead of trying to find it elsewhere. It’s time we help each other unleash the powers within.

You may not be able to see it in yourself, but if you can see the superhero in someone else, it’s there in you too. You just have to believe in yourself. Be you. You already are your own superhero. No one else can be you. No one else can live your story. So, stop being afraid of what’s out there and go out and do your extraordinary things, whatever those things are. Even if it’s just a matter of living everyday better than the last and embracing your quirks such as painting the laundry room to 80’ music while singing off key and having a blast with your friends and her kids.

Being extraordinary is a matter of being you to the fullest. Sometimes I take a step back and look at everything I accomplish on my own, and realize, wow, I really did do all of this. And I’ll do even more tomorrow, and the tomorrow after that. And sometimes, I’ll accomplish nothing more than a day on the couch after soaking in the hot tub and that’s okay too. Even superheroes need a day off from time to time.

But the main thing is to start. Start doing something for yourself. Start doing something that makes you happy to the fullest. Be your own inspiring superhero. What you love about others, find it in yourself too. Make it a habit. Learn something good from others and do it on your own too. It takes a start to get to the finish line.

Each time we should be aware of doing something, bad habits can easily be adopted into our life. Your focus should always be on your goal of acquiring good habits, the right mindset, positive thinking, and making it your action.

It’s okay to fail, it’s okay to fall as long as you’re learning something good because people are anyway going to judge you. Positive thinking doesn’t work all the time. Taking the right action with the right mindset is important and understanding why you’re doing, what you’re doing works.

Start your first hour of your day with a mindset that guides and fulfills you, with your own definition of a superhero, have courage, passion and spirit to choose well.
